T. P. Vincent Grocery circa 1930.

The Attic is located in historic Madison, Indiana in a turn of the century grocery store that housed T.P. Vincent grocery for nearly fifty years. The restored two-story brick building has a cast iron facade, made at the Madison Machine Company. Some of the original store fixtures and shelving still remain and have been adapted to the shop's use.

Shown in Colonial Homes, Midwest Living, Country Home, and many other regional magazines and publications, The Attic is southern Indiana's most noted gift and specialty retail shop. Since 1971 the shop has been noted for its outstanding selection of custom framing, prints, poster art, gourmet foods, and unique gift items.

We take pride in being a small family business now in its third generation of ownership. We hope you enjoy our website and hope you can visit us in Madison soon.

Thank you for visiting the Attic!

Sincerely,
Judy & Phil George, and Julie Truax
